Last night in Europe we changed our clocks waving good-bye to daylight saving time for another year. You could think that the only thing that changes is that for one night we gain an extra hour. But from the way I see it we potentially gain a lot more.
As many of you know, I have a farm in rural northern Spain. And increasingly over the past few weeks it's been dark in the morning – and it's been getting darker. It was as if the day was later and later in starting. When there's darkness outside, it's hard not only to get out of bed for many of us. But it's also hard to glean nature's clues as to what the day holds in store.
