Fear is a normal human emotion. It’s part of our survival instinct to help us protect ourselves by avoiding situations in which we might come to harm.
Rational fear serves a defensive purpose. It signals danger and prepares us to take action to deal with it. But sometimes our fears exceed the true potential of danger or harm of any given situation. This is when fear crosses the line into phobia.
Phobias and other intense fears are very common. It is estimated that more than 10% of the population experience some form of phobia at some time in their lives.
And there’s nothing that can’t form the basis of a phobia. We can be gripped by the fear of spiders, heights, open spaces, confined spaces and flying to name but a few of the possible phobias.

- I will then confirm receipt of your reading purchase and let you know when your Fear & Phobia Reading will be ready.
- Your Fear & Phobia Reading will follow in a separate email with intuitive insight, advice and guidance, consisting of approximately 1,200 words. That’s nearly twice the length of a standard Email Reading.
